[V2.1.1 TastyIgniter] Select Option Required Not Working

Looking for any help to solve this issue. This is for TastyIgniter V2.1.1

Expected behavior:
Should work as the other two types of options, radio and check. If option is required the order cannot be placed into cart without choosing appropriate option.

Actual behavior:
When you use select as an option type and set it as required, it will not work as intended, the item will be added to cart regardless of if the option has been selected.

Tanbir I haven't looked at v2 code in a while but let's see. Open extensions/cart_module/views/cart_options.php and replace line 113:

<option value=""><?php echo $menu_option['option_name']; ?></option>

<option></option>

Tried this and that did not resolve the problem. The item is still added to the cart. The modification only changed the display of what is about to be Updated. The change is that the option title is no longer displayed . The pulldown is still there and the options are still showing if you click the arrow to pulldown the options,, the initial rendering of the menu choices shows no info in the pulldowns that require selection.
