Hello all. Hopefully someone can assist.
I'm having an issue viewing the menu on the frontend.
I have all modules enabled.
Googles api and geocoding services are working.
I'm using one of the themes from the marketplace.
Everytime I hit View menu
Or try to navigate to 127.0.0.1/local/menus,
I'm presented with my initial home screen 127.0.0.1
Please assist. Not sure why I can't view.
andrewvenson is your location permalink set to ‘local’?
Permalink is set to this under themes/theme/_pages/local/menus.php
Sorry for late response
Also upon selecting a category while on one of the other local urls, I'm also redirected to the local home page
andrewvenson Permalink is set to this under themes/theme/_pages/local/menus.php
Set the location permalink from the admin panel, go to Restaurant > Locations > Edit, under Location tab.
It's weird because I'm able to navigate to the other local pages.
I can reach all those, just not the menus
Great that's exactly what I needed.
Do I need to set that to local whenever I'm testing on localhost?
And if were to deploy this to the world, what would I need to change that permalink value to?
Thank you by the way!
andrewvenson You can set the value to whatever you want. Just make sure you update the value of the Local component property defaultLocationParam, under Design > Themes > Edit Active theme > select _local/menus page from the Source dropdown.
Thank you brotha.
I've been manually updating the code through vscode. I would like to use the 'Edit Source' functionality.
But upon selecting any source file from the dropdown I receive a long error block.
andrewvenson Would you mind sharing the error, so I could look into it. To make the changes through vscode, the Local extension block should look something like this.
sampoyigi Thank you, I'm do not have the error anymore
