Translations not applied

I am translating the site, but apparently after some modification to the theme all the translations have returned to default in English. If I go to languages the values are present correctly. However, they are not shown. Furthermore, in the folder there is only "en" and not also my language. Anyone know how to solve?

fedex Changes made to translations from the admin panel are stored in the database instead of the filesystem. Can you share more information on the error to help me reproduce it?

fedex I can't reproduce the issue with translations. Translation remains intact on the front end when I make changes to any of the theme colour. Does the default language value in System > Settings > General change?

sampoyigi no the translations are not changed, but as reported in the link if you make a change to a page of a theme, the customizations such as colors and everything else disappears and returns to default. also the language. then filling in again with a color change also returns the language. but it's a big deal. 🙈
