Translate menu items in other language

Hi everybody,
I’m trying to use TI, I don’t understand if it’s possible to have menu items and categories in different languages. I don’t see any options to translate it.

Hi Enrico!

You can enter different languages into the fields, and there are language packs in app/admin/language and app/main/language.

Once you have created a language pack for your language, you can then make languages available in Localisation -> Languages. IF you want to set it as teh default, then System -> Settings -> General -> Default Language.

I don’t think it’s possible to have the same menu items in multiple languages if that’s what you’re attempting to do. The only work around i’ve identified is to have two different restaurants and then have a language switcher that points to the other restaurant. The simpler fix is to have the overall system in two languages, and provide a bilingual menu.
