Database Settings: Connection failed: could not find driver

I’m trying to setup TasyIgniter, finally passed all the PHP requirements, now I’m trying to setup the database. I’ve filled in all the blanks click Administration and receive the “Connection failed: could not find driver” error message. I fill lost, what am I missing?

I tried to upload an image of of the screen parms, but couldn’t figure that one out. I have these values:

Database Name: tasty
Hostname: 127.0.0.1
Port: 3306
Username: root
Password: xxxx
Table Prefix: ti_

I wasn’t sure if the setup was going to create the database or not so I went ahead and created the new database, add every permission possible for the given user. Still had the same results.

The first page of the setup indicated all the required php extenstions were present, some how it missed the need for th pdo_mysql extension, in the php.ini file I removed the semi-colon comment on extension=pdo_mysql and now I can get past the 2nd page where it connects to the mysql server. Hope that helps someone.
