My site stopped suddenly with this error:

Database Error Was Encountered
A database connection is required. Check the database is properly configured and migrated before trying again.
Everything was working fine until yesterday. I’ve re-checked database connection, exported the database to a newly created database. Still the same. Version v3.0.4-beta.20.1

Solved by editing config/database.php line 44
