You'll need to update the default mail templates. Which you'll be able to update from Admin/System/Tool/Maintenance under Migration, select the file you've just uploaded "023....." and click Migrate. Then copy the changes from the default template to yours or manually add the new variables {order_comment} and {menu_comment} to your template.

I am testing v2.0 ( not sure if this is bug or a theme issue )

When placing an order and you have set up the options menu, there is a comments box which is not being picked up in the email to admin. I have looked at the email templates and there is only one comments variable {order_comment} and this is for the comments left at checkout.

Does anyone know of the variable needed to show the comments made on the option menus page.

Hi, I have made the changes but comments are not showing for me. If I add {menu_comment} is comes through on the email as {menu_comment}.

Apologies, one of the files didn't upload properly. Everything working okay now and thank you for the swift fix.
