APP for Android and iOS

I am not aware of an app as such but you can make live easier in the /admin world by creating a new role like “order manager”(users->staff) . Only activate the “manage orders”. Then create a new user and assign to “order manager”. Login using your phone browser with new credentials. You will see that only dashboard and sales ->order are active. When clicking on the edit part of an order you get a properly wrapped screen where you can manage the statuses of the order and obviously review it.

I have developed apps for customer ordering. i know others have been working on a management app, but I find the web portal works fine for our customers.

The approach I’m taking is to just use a simple Cordova wrapper app. Haven’t tried any of the cordova plugins with it yet. Developing and maintaining iOS and Android apps is so much work.

@brad yeah thats definitely the easier way to go! From memory I think Apple might be rejecting apps that are web views without any additional functionality. I could be wrong.

I know this thread is almost dead, but I couldn’t resist chiming in since the post caught my attention. I’m not sure about an app that specifically works with TastyIgniter, but have you checked out some general restaurant management apps on the app stores? I know some of them offer real-time order tracking and customer order placement.
