Technical question prior to installing regarding opening/closing times

We are thinking about getting Tastyigniter for a small client but he has specific requirement:

He has eight different set menus (Each for two people total price - £60) for each of the next eight Friday and Saturdays (only one menu on offer per week) and he wants people to be able to order and pay (via Paypal) for a set menu by the Wednesday evening before the weekend. Ideally he only wants people to be able to order one set menu but this is not a deal breaker. He only wants people to be able to pick them up on the Friday or Saturday (for that day) between 10am and 14:00pm although I guess you could pick up Saturdays food on the Friday.

He is not doing any restaurant reservations as he has had to close but he wants to embed something into his existing website for the take-aways.

Can we do this with Tastyigniter?

This can be done, but you’ll need to be prepared to write an extension to handle the ordering cut off dates. You set the preorder days far enough in advance (say 7) and listen for the “igniter.workingSchedule.timeslotValid” event and amend the timeslots returned to the user.
