OK Found it. It sets the last address you use in checkout as the default address. Ofcourse it could be great if there was a radio button in account settings to allow users to select their default address. If not, then for improving user experience we should add a notice in the user account page for explaining that the address from their last checkout will be set automatically as default on the future orders.
