How to create a Coupon?

I swear I searched all over - lots of ppl discussing aspects of coupons, but I find nothing on how to actually create a coupon. What I really need though is to create gift certificates, which I don’t think is supported? IOWs, a unique code that has a value (eg $50.00). If you use it on an order less than the amount (eg $25.00), then it gets reduced by that amount until it hits zero value.

Marketing - - - > coupons, new.

No function for gift cards, theoretically you could use coupons in this way but it would have to redeemed in one order.

Ok, I’m probably gonna sound even more dumb, but where is “Marketing”?

@jeromio are you on the latest beta? If so coupons is an extension now.

I’m on 3.04beta24. I just installed it fresh on 11/5/2020. I did look for an extension before - not sure why I couldn’t find it, but now I do see it on the TastyIgniter site. I was able to install it. It doesn’t show up by simply browsing extensions.
