Unfortunately the problem persists, GoogleAPI was NOT causing the issue.. (I found the timestamps didn’t match)
So after tracing back my latest changes, I realize that I re-configured the statuses. I created new statuses for both orders AND reservations. (Sales - Statuses) and also configured status-workflow (System - Settings - Setup). Status Default, Processing, Completed and Cancellation are configured *Orders AND Reservations).
When I create an Order, the user still does not get an Oder-Confirmation page.
In the Admin panel, I actually find the order but Status shows ‘Incomplete’. The action does not generate log-entries in the Admin panel. When I open the order, I can click-and-select the initial status just fine, the order can be processed normal after that..
I think it’s a sign to leave the keyboard for a while and get me some rest..
