CORS header in api/menus

Hello…
I am trying to access menus from api/manus to list all menu item through ajax request, but getting CORS Error (Cross-Origin Request Blocked:The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://mysite.com/api/menus. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing).)

Please let me know how to add CORS headed in the API Base endpints?

You can add it in routes.php inside teh api extension folder, or alternatively add it on the NGINX/Apache config (which would be better to avoid overwrites).

and i want to add menu search functionality to API like http://mysite.com/api/search to make auto complete feature to the menu search. to improve the menu search experience.

There is already a menus end point which accepts a search url parameter - should give you what you want

that is i know, and that is available at /api/menus end point.
but my intention is to provide an extended search, that can be auto complete with the category.
Reference:

based on search keyword, the auto complete should list the item within relevant category name. is this possible!?

Should be able to do it with that end point still - it’s just a case of transforming the response in JavaScript.

But the api menus endpoint just listing all the menu items, but it it does not contains relevant category name. but i would like to make implementation as above image.

Its there if you pass the right ?include to the url…
ie /api/menus?include=categories
