I am testing the developer which was downloaded today.
When I go to checkout and enter an email address I receive the following error message: "Warning: E-Mail Address is already registered!"
This happens for any email address entered and there is nothing showing in the error logs.
Further testing shows the same thing happeing when you try and register an account. "The Email Address field value already exists."
