Currently the process for updating the documentation is to begin on github by editing a document that requires new detail. Then you open a new Pull Request to get your update into the queue for review. Then the owner of the project (Sam) reviews your suggestions and either merges your edits or rejects them.
Not the best way to get updated documentation because Sam is busy and still the bottleneck, but better than nothing. A wiki would give everyone the opportunity to contribute and edit while at the same time capturing the various editions so others can at least read or refer to other options that might have been successful for another implementation.
Something @sampoyigi could consider for this site as well as the documentation effort for TI.
