Menu Preview for Disabled Locations

Is there a way currently for a user to view a location menu in “preview” mode when the location is disabled to front end customers? While we have our restaurant partners setting up their menus it would be amazing for them to view a preview of the menu so they know how it will look/work in the front end, but while still being disabled from view of the general customer base.

There are so many options available I wasn’t sure if this was already part of the platform and I’m just missing something?

As it stands no there isnt. A couple of options:

You could let it be listed by have delivery no and collection no which would stop orders.
You add a new field through an extension which determines whether its listed or not in your front end ‘list view’ and then it can remain published but not listed.

I have GOT to figure out these extensions! Is there anywhere you can point me to that will help me understand the structure / development for extensions on the platform?
