The root path /tmp is not readable.

Hey guys,
I wanted to get TastyIgniter up and running on my shared web hoster. The installation was not a problem at all.
But now I’m running into an issue when I want to check out my frontend. Somehow it says “The root path /tmp is not readable. (View: /www/htdocs/w018f247/foodie-gp.de/extensions/igniter/frontend/components/slider/default.blade.php) (View: /www/htdocs/w018f247/foodie-gp.de/themes/tastyigniter-orange/_pages/home.blade.php)”

Does someone know a way to fix it? I have no access to a php.ini only a .htaccess file

fabs973 Have you done the post-installation steps? https://tastyigniter.com/docs/master/installation#apache-configuration. It looks like a permissions issue. Check that too.

unfortunately the issue is still occuring.

Anyone knows what the issue is? Trying to figure it out for quite some time now but can’t come up with any solution tho.

@fabs973 the issue is to do with your filesystem setup - its telling you your temp folder isnt readable. Nothing in the TI setup is setting that directory, so it is specific to your hosting environment. I would take it up with your web host.

@fabs973 my hosting provider has the same limitations. I solved this problem by putting the following line in the config/app.php file: putenv('TMPDIR=/path/to/a/writable/temp'); before return [...
