SQL error on install activity_id

Hi,

Upgrading from 2.1.1 and experiencin this error.
SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'where activity_id = ?' at line 1 (SQL: update 3kniupfby_activities set where activity_id = 11)

Is this familiar to anyone?
Any help appreciated.

For those experiencing the same, the solution is to delete the data in the activities table.
