What does Option Reservation Page in Setup?

In System -> Settings -> Setup -> Order there is an option called “Reservation Page” (Choose a page to display your booking form ). Here I can choose a Page. For example reservation/reservation.

For what exactly is this option? What happens inside If I choose reservation/reservation or my own test-page?

This option determines which page displays the reservation calendar / booking widget. The setup is required to make it linkable at various points in the system.

And if this setting is wrong, the “only” disadvantage is, that the user cant find the way to the reservation-page via the default links from system. If I setup my own navigation and create within a link with my individual reservation-page, all works fine. Right?
