There’s a bug in Mail Templates.

You can’t edit or do anything on the Mail template (save or such thing).

href of the page are almost all wrong:
And there’s also this console error:

File of the regex: app/admin/formwidgets/markdowneditor/assets/vendor/easymde/easymde.min.js

The regex isn’t wrong in the vendor dist, the problem is while sending to client.

Console Error only appear while trying to edit a template.
I suspect that, because of this, the page do not load completely:

I’ve tested in a fresh version.

I’m not seeing this on a fresh install.
What browser and version are you using?

I’ve tried in three different browsers and in three different servers with three different PHP versions (7.4.0, 7.4.3 and 7.4.9).
This problem appears to be in the server, as the code that is comming has these errors.

Well, since your installation is working, I could use your help to change the templates manually.
When I change these templates in the admin, how does it store the data? In the code? In the database? Could you help me showing an example?

I’ve tried to change in database and didn’t work. I’ve also changed in the extension, but I’m worried to place the changes in there because an update could return to default value.

Posted exactly this problem at github in “bugs”. No reaction till today. May I ask you to “support” my request at github? Maybe this will help priorising.

This a volunteer led system, and we do our best. Often the quickest way is to fix the issue yourself and raise a pull request on GitHub for it to be included. Thats how I got involved in the project.

I am definitely interested in getting involved and supporting this project. I am actually in the works of adding and fixing a lot of the code to support apple pay button and will soon raise a PR for that.

However, my expertise doesn’t lie in JS, and this seems more of a JS bug? I am also facing a similar issue. Appreciate any support/update on how we can resolve this bug, as it only occurs while editing the email templates.

I had the same problem, I’m not quite sure where except the problem.
But I found a temporary solution. I overwrote the js file in the /app/admin/formwidgets/markdowneditor/assets/vendor/easymde directory with the latest version of EASYMDE.JS, although it will still prompt some kind of error, but the page can already be modified
