Recaptcha setup

Hi,

We have been getting a lot of fake registrations on the website so I would like to setup Recaptcha on the register page. I have configured the reCAPTCHA v2 codes in the setup, however not sure how and where to add the component in the theme files. I tried adding it to the checkout page but it was still possible to place an order without checking the I am not a robot check. Also not quite sure where to put it on the ‘Register’ page.

You would need to code it as a component registered through a new extension I think, and then in your extension you would need to listen for the igniter.checkout.afterValidate event, and add your logic to it for validating the recaptcha… you would throw an Igniter\Flame\Exception\ApplicationException if you wanted checkout to fail and and error message to be shown
