Delivery Driver Added To Order.

I do not know exactly i have understand your requirement.But somewhat my requirement is also the same. I created Staff Groups in Users as 'Delivery Staff' and set some privileges that they can see only Orders Page in the whole admin Panel. First Admin(Restaurant Manager or Supervisor) can assign the order to particular staff. That staff can view his orders in this page and once he delivered the food,he can change the status to delivered in status option in Orders Edit Page. Then once invoice generated, i added some code to show delivery staff name in that invoice. SO that we can later find out who delivered where and what amount.

I would like to be able to add "Drivers" into the user section, and maybe have a small drop down menu under the orders section where I could assign said driver to a delivery.

I've looked into a lot of online ordering software, and every one I come across never seems to have this feature. I own a few pizza places that I would love to get up and running with this software, but that's the only downside too it. Currently we keep track of what driver takes what order and now much they owe at the end of the night on a piece of paper. That involves them holding onto all their debit/credit receipts and us totaling them up at the end of the night.

If this feature can be added, I would pay for it.
