Option prices based on another option

Hey guys,

I’ve read through all of the threads but I don’t seem to find an answer to my problem.

What I need: The possibility to set up prices of options based on another option. For example there will be pizza in three different sizes (the first option(radio)) in my menu. Then I need a second option for optional ingredients with prices based on the size. For example for a small pizza an additional ingredient should cost $1 but for a large one it should be $2.

Is there a way to integrate this function as simple as possible?
I hope someone can help me with that.

I don’t believe there is currently a way to do that. What I do in that situation is set up separate items for each base pizza, size and separate option lists for each price point. It’s a bit of a pain to set up the first time but it works.

That’s unfortunate. I don’t think this is an option for me as it is extremely developer and user unfriendly.
Maybe someone can offer an extension?

It is on my list at some points to look at this functionality in an extension, but it works really well as it is in most cases. For the 40+ restaurants that I have online today, this is a pretty low priority change.

If and when I address this, I’ll let you know.

Dynamic pricing was something BIG on my todo list before launching our Pizzeria’s online ordering. I recently had the pleasure of working with the Tastyigniter custom development team to have this very function developed. I feel like there are still a bunch of areas for improvement/expansion that need to be addressed in order to make TI ideal for pizza, but with dynamic pricing it gets the job done.
