What should the message read instead?

You mean when theres no delivery cost set and its free delivery the message shouldn't say confirm the delivery costs? Checking here, the delivery cost appears when its set in admin.

If you place an order and go to checkout and put a different delivery address you receive the message,

"Your delivery area has changed, please confirm the delivery cost."

But the shopping cart hasn't updated to include the delivery cost.

The message is correct but it is asking to confirm the delivery cost which does not show in the cart. Going by the message the cart should show the delivery cost so you can confirm and accept it.

Not sure I have explained myself correctly.

If I enter the site with a postcode, say, LS1 which is a free delivery area that's not a problem. The message shows once I go to checkout and put a different postcode because I am at a friends house and there is a delivery charge.

The message indicates that the error has been picked up by the system but it is asking to confirm the delivery charges which do not show in the cart.

Hi Dejosel, I did set that to show a delivery charge, that's not the problem.

You can find this in admin/location/languages/checkout_lang.php

It's at the bottom of the file

Hello Midways you can select the Delivery condition-->"on order Total above" and next put the Total value

Does anyone know which file this "Your delivery area has changed, please confirm the delivery cost." is stored. It needs to be changed to "Your delivery area has changed, please confirm the postcode click here" The Click Here will be a link back to the home page so they can put there postcode in again. there items remain in the cart so that fixes the issue then of people not being able to checkout because the postcode is different from homepage to order page. Either that or make the postcode box pop up saying please confirm delivery postcode then that will fix it as well.

In Fact if someone can tell me where that text is and the change location file I can get it all done.
