Restaurant is unavailable for delivery orders error

Hello,

We have the delivery option turned off for our restaurant, however when a user tries to add an item to their cart, they get an error saying that the restaurant is unavailable for delivery orders.

The only way they can order is if they specifically select pickup. I tried different options like changing the delivery time to custom but deselecting every day (leaving the delivery option off).

How can I have the system default to my carryout option so users do not have to figure out what to do. Needless to say, it generates a lot of questions. ;)

Any update on this? i get same error. I want it to be pick up only restaurant and disabled delivery option in setting. When i go to menu page as customer and click on add to cart button it displays error saying that its unavailable for delivery orders. It only let me add order when i click pick up button? Why it doesn’t default to pick up when delivery is disabled?

I also have the same issue. How to make it default just for Pickup Order? and also remove the search address to check if deliver or not from the first page.

You need to edit the default order type on the local box component.

Layouts -> Local layout -> Local box component

@tararinethaicuisine you can hide the location search in the same place
