Pick-up option issue: why require address or zip code

Hi Jason, this might not be ideal but it will allow you to accept the pick-up orders. I also struggled with this.

When someone visits your site and enters a post code outside your delivery area they receive an error message, "We do not have any local restaurant near you."

What I did was change the error message to: "We do not deliver to your area. If you are wanting to place an order for collection please enter LS26 and select pick-up."

Where I put LS26 you place your own business post code. The customer gains access to your site and can order for pickup.

As I say not ideal but it works for now.

Or you could place a small text banner on the homepage.

Got the codes installed, and checked out the demo. For Delivery, it is good to check address to if the restaurant delivery to the address, however for Pick-up, shouldn't need to have any check on address/postcode as the customers will pick up foods at restaurant location. Currently we got "Please type in a postcode/address to check if we can deliver to you." when choosing "Pick-up" option on the restaurant page, for instance, accessing restaurant location page directly. In order to continue the ordering, will have to set a delivery location.

Here is the case: many customers' addresses are out of a restaurant delivery area. However, they can normally do "Pick-up" when the restaurant is on the way to home or pass by the restaurant location. If they have to set up a delivery address in restaurant's delivery zones/areas to continue the ordering, they won't be able to do it unless they make up a "fake" one.

is there a way in Tastyigniter to set up not check or ask address against delivery check when doing "Pick-up"?
