Just gave Taco a spin over the weekend..overall, itās a solid start! Iāve been using TastyIgniter for a small takeaway shop we run locally, and having a dedicated app that connects cleanly with the backend is a big deal for our workflow.
The setup was smoother than I expected. Took a bit to get the API keys sorted, and I had to double-check my permissions settings, but once it was synced, the order notifications came through in real time. Huge plus.
One thing Iād love to see in a future update is the ability to manage menu items directly from the app..even if itās just toggling availability on the fly. We run out of certain specials during the day and itās a pain to log into the admin panel every time.
Otherwise, great job so far. Curious to hear how others are using it..especially anyone running multiple locations. Wondering how scalable it is for that use case.
