What do you mean by nothing happened when you tried installing TastyIgniter? If you followed the installation instructions on the documentation and you see a blank page, try making sure your file permissions are set correctly.

Thanks, Its much easier to help when you provide an error message.

The system can not find/access a views folder. Make sure you have uploaded all content inside the unzipped TastyIgniter-1.4.2-beta folder. Also make sure you set the correct file permission (owners and groups).

From the error message in your log file, you do not have mysqli php extension enabled or installed. Please, contact your hosting provider to help you install and enable mysqli php extension for your host.

"MySQLi is part of PHP. There should be a php-mysqli type package available, or you can take the PHP source and recompile that mysqli enabled. You may already have it installed, but it's done as a module and is disabled. Check your php.ini for extension=mysqli.so or similar. it may be commented out, or the .so file is present in your extensions directory but not linked to PHP via that extension= directive."

Even I checked my local machine(Linux Mint) also. It's not open index.php file. Can you tell me proper way.

I got "Your view folder path does not appear to be set correctly. Please open the following file and correct this: index.php". All my files under /var/www/TastyIgniter folder. Please guide me.

Thanks, After installing TastyIgniter-1.4.2-beta I'm getting blank page without error. Why this blank page is appearing? What should i do next? File permission for group and owner(my machine username only like owner=selva group=selva).

Hi Sampoyigi I am also getting the same blank page while I am trying to install, I had tried and followed all the instructions in this page and at thread3 but no use, i will pm my ftp details where should i send, I am new to php and i dont know where the problem is and i had already contacted my hosting provider about allow overwrite and they said they are already there

Hi Sam, I got blank page as well. I checked extension=mysqli.so and it is enabled /etc/php.d/mysqli.ini. I set permission 755 for tastyigniter (/home/mywebsite/public_html/tastyigniter) and sub directories.
