For two languages, only the core is translated, but not the extensions..
The Problem is :
Function : defaultLang()
The return value "$lang" is empty, then he takes the default "$config['language'] = english", that is wrong
Sorry, my English is a bit rusty !
Any idea what will work? Isn't it better to fallback to default when nothing is set?
I have the same problem with the extensions. Extensions translated in the backend are not shown, only the English text. So I changed the English text, but if I need a second language, that is not possible....
@brainfreeze the easiest way is.
open : ..\system\TastyIgniter\Core\TI_Lang.php
and change the following code in the function "defaultLang()"
Hacking the core is not always the best solution, since you'll lose your changes once you update to a newer version.
Yes, I rather not hack the core. I now have translated some english modules to dutch. That way it will show correctly on the front. Not sure if it will be overwritten with an update.
Fix here, will be available in the next update
