I'm trying to find a way to have the price be automatically adjusted depending on what size you choose.

Using a pizza as an example, rather than having to add a small, medium and large with different prices, is there a way to have that option with a radio button?

What I'm saying is, there is no option to have different sizes on an item that correspond with a different price. If you want to have a small or a large pizza, you literally have to have two separate products instead of just selecting the size and the price be adjusted accordingly.

The problem is that the menu options don't change the price of the original product. If I needed a big/medium/small pizza I would have to create 3 different products. I need the ability for 1 product to have several different prices.

I might have to go to a 3rd party that knows the codeigniter framework. I'm just worried about future updates so I would rather pay TastyIgniter to do it, it's too bad they don't respond...

The point of paying TastyIgniter to do it means that if something breaks during an update, they would fix it. Security is my number one concern, and I would rather have the developer add this feature in for me. I would also rather have my money go to support this project, this is obviously a feature that is imperative in any restaurant ordering software. I was actually shocked something like this could be overlooked.

I am trying to figure out this too, we do sell pizzas and we do have 22 flavours, 2 sizes, 2 dough types, and 3 crust types. And in top of it we do combine falvours (up to 4) in one pizza.....

This would be a HUGE advantage against all other scripts!!!!

The problem is that if you charge a different price for the toppings on the other pizza sizes, your solution will not work. At this point, we would need to have each size pizza as a menu item and then put the toppings list to reflect the different prices for the toppings. So you would have the Small pizzas as a menu item, medium pizza as a menu item, large pizza as a menu item. If Sam or another developer needs money to do this programming to make it available to the community, perhaps we could have a group funding of the development?? I am willing to share the code that made the interfaces on my demo page and chip in some cash to make this a reality.

It would also be handy if tasty igniter could use an entire category as an option list, so that when a Half & Half Pizza is configured, all of the combo pizzas can be pulled into the configurator to select a combo + toppings.... This would eliminate the need to have an option list of all the combo pizzas, which in some cases can be quite a long list.

Hi one thing i´m thinking about

If you need 3 different sizes you could make it like this Call the pizza with the original prize like "Pizza standard"

Then make a new option with choose field like this Pizza standard + = 0.00 EUR Pizza medium + = 3.00 EUR Pizza big += 5.00 EUR

So if the user choose standard pizza the prize will not change because the price in menü option is set to is 0.00 !

Then you could add an extra menu options for the toppings.

This is just an idea !!

But it would be perfect if the developer of this script could program an extra menü option only for the sizes of a menu for example standard pizza = 3 Euro Programming an radio button with the first item = checked = 3 Euro and if the user chooses another price the original price will be changed automatically

thats not a lot of work i would guess
