I am new here
I have just downloaded tastyigniter 2.1.1 and has installed perfectly and just tweaking it as only need it for a single restaurant and noticed that the links at the top are not working such as login and register, I think I have configured the htaccess files correctly but when I click on the login or register link, it says not found and get a 404 error

sorry got it working now by commenting RewriteBase / as found that answer in another forum post
