Currently, we are working on TI v2 and it will be available in a few weeks.
In response to your question, we suggest that you go ahead and install the current beta version, since you will be able to easily upgrade to v2 when it is released. Even though this version is in beta, it is still okay for production.
The reason why TI v2 has taken us this long to release, is because the TI team takes into consideration all those who have already downloaded, and are currently using previous versions of TI, and we need these users to have a seamless upgrade to v2 when it is finally released.
The aim of TI is to keep improving the software and build and maintain a thriving community which we all can contribute to. To assist with the quick release of TI v2, you can download the Master version on Github, install, and report any bugs that you may find, to us here on the forum.
