For me it was an SSL problem.

Make sure you have the Google API key in the TastyIgniter settings.

While debugging, if on Line 770 [$geocode_data = curl_exec($ch)] on C:\wamp\www\tastyigniter\system\tastyigniter\libraries\Location.php, it returns false. Then you can use curl_error($ch) to see the error. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8227909/curl-exec-always-returns-false

For me the error was: "SSL certificate problem: unable to get local issuer certificate".
