Cannot proceed beyond the License Agreement

Hello! I am still struggling with not being able to get beyond the license acceptance screen. (the install is located at http://transactioncart.com) It just keeps on reloading the license.

Currently, apache.apache has ownership of this entire website and every folder within. I was unable to make the site display the license acceptance page without apache being the owner. I continually got a blank screen

Here is a picture of the Directory structure from my FTP client:

Thanks for any help you can lend. This is driving me crazy, as I really want to finish this install so I can get some testing done on it.

So, I was experimenting with the .htaccess files and put in the full filesystem path to my installation. Now when I accept the license agreement, I get a 500 internal server error as the server cannot locate a folder called requirements:

I looked in my install package for tastyigniter, but do not see any such directory. Any advice for this? I get the same problem on my Ubuntu 16.04 testing machine...

Thanks for your response! I was suspecting the same thing, so I installed PHP 5.6 & 7.0 and changed my virtual host PHP configuration to try the older versions but still get the same 500 internal server error. The apache error log shows this message when I request a page:

adding the LimitInternalRecursion 100 directive didn't help either...

Here are the issues you need to resolve:

Does apache own the directory? Did you create the .htaccess files? Are you running PHP 5.6?

These are all common culprits when TastyIgniter gives a http 500 error.
