openeing a new stoe - need help with website

We are opening a new shop to run along side our current shop.

Current website works well, using SSL to take advantage of Stripe.

My question is, rather than buying a new domain and another SSL certificate, how can i run both tasty website from 1 domain name? i tried doing a subdomain but the ssl certificates dont work with subdomains.

i thought about doing domain.co.uk/a new folder - but this doesnt seem to work. I guess it would if i could modify the baseroot? but i dont know how to do that. If i was was going to do this i would create a landing page where users could choose which shop to order from

any help/advice would be ideal

If you want to use domain.co.uk/a new folder you will have to change the settings in the .htaccess to the correct path.

In the .htacess you will see: RewriteBase /

After the / this is where you add the path to the folder which holds the script.
