404 error

So after digging around, i found two possible solutions.

Open your config file in system/tastyigniter/config/config.php On line 47 replace

$config['uri_protocol']	= 'AUTO';

with

$config['uri_protocol'] = "REQUEST_URI";

If that doesn't work, on line 29 replace

$config['index_page'] = '';

with

$config['index_page'] = 'index.php';

Just to note - i moved from v1.4 to v2 and needed to the above to get the site working

Greeting programs,

I hope you guys can help me, I'm having some problems just getting this to install.

My problem, I go to my domain, scanstest.ddns.net, the install screen loads and everything has green checkmarks, but when I hit install, it goes to a 404 page cannot be found.

My system, I'm running Windows server 2012 R2 and iis 8. The server is running at my house, I have no problems with other sites running wordpress and joomla.

What I've done, at first I was just getting a blank white page, I put the htaccess file in the url rewrite and same thing. After reading posts here, I change the permissions on the folder that tastyignite is in and that allowed me to get the install screen. However when I hit install, I get the 404. I've tried taking out the url rewrite and it makes no difference if it there or not, I get the same install screen followed by the 404.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It was the second solution, the edit on line 29, I gotta say, you know your stuff. I've tried to get other websites to run on IIS like Invoice Plain and when I asked them for assistance they just said IIS isn't supported, thought I was going to have to go to linux.

Thank you very much for your help, it worked like a charm.

I have another problem however, I installed it with demo data, I don't know if it was supposed to create any categories or not, but there isn't any. When I try to make one it says "an error occurred, nothing added."
