Installastion not working on local host

Also what comments are you talking about for .htaccess because I don't have a .htaccess file

keep in mind that this particular install in the example is installing TastyIgniter in a subfolder called Pedido. If you are installing in the server root folder, you would remove /Pedido and use / . Good luck!

I am using xampp and when I unzip the file and go to "localhost/tastyigniter-2.1.1" it doesn't take me to set up page or anything just a blank white screen I also tried /setup and /index.php but nothing works just blank page no installation screen or anything. To try To see if it works or not I uploaded it to one of my live server and the setup worked there but how do I get it to work on local host. Please help
