Cannot create a reservation

Hello, I have created some reservable tables for the TastyIgniter Reservation system, but when I attempt click "Find a Table", I get the following error:

The Date field must contain a valid date format.

The date format is: 07/30/2017

I have used the date picker to select date desired but get this error anyway. Any solution to this error?

I was able to make the reservations module work only when I select the date format of 07-30-2017. 07/30/2017 does NOT work
