Make restaurant menu the home page

I saw this somewhere probably on another post.

This redirects to /menus every time they open your homepage.

In v3.0.4, the easiest way to modify the home page is to just use the existing theme home page (Order Online![home]).

Open the Template under Design / Themes / Orange Theme / Pages / Order Online![home]
Remove initial components and then add the Local Menu Component and the Local Categories Component. You don’t have to save because the theme is locked. The modifications will get written, however, Even though the Markup does not get modified.
Configure the Local Menu Component remove text on The default location route parameter and change the Page to redirect to Menu [local/menus] and click Save!

That is the easiest way to change the home page to be the menu of a specific restaurant.

I know it’s very old thread, but can’t find any info. Customisation is so difficult with that kind of template structure that it makes me feel is not worth to pay for premium support.

If you want to direct from the homepage to a specific menu page then its best to add:

@php response()->redirectTo('/default/menus')->send() @endphp

to the home.blade.php file
