Variables from Menu

Hey guys I'd like to inject variables into my slider component.
Specifically the menuItem->menu_name and menuItem->menu_price and menuItem->menu_description.

I read the docs on how to send a variable to a component, but not sure how to extract these specific ones from the menu

Please help.

I'd really like to know how to share prebuilt variables through all pages and component.

andrewvenson Its only possible to inject variables from the Menu component into the Slider component when both components are added to the page.

You can share prebuilt variables by declaring the variables in the PHP section of a page or layout, using one of the execution life cycle functions, as described in the docs
