Remove the "Enter your address/postcode to order" box

We will not be doing delivery and I want to remove the “Enter y our address /post code to order”, ive been looking at the theme pages & _partials, but cant find the reference to this. Where is this entry at?

pugy365 You can hide the search box on the home page by enabling Hide Location Search in the Local Search Component on _pages/home.php page and Local Box Component on _layouts/local.php layout.

sampoyigi Where are these settings? or how to navigate to these? I dont see those menu options in my admin panel

Tried this but does not work. I still see this search on the homepage even after clearing browser cache, etc. Use latest version (did fresh re-install). What else can be the cause of this or where else can I disable this? Thank you.

eko Hi eko, this should do the trick and give you a button to the menu instead. Can you send a screenshot please?

Thank you, but have decided to go other route with different free ordering application, which is working for us out of the box. I like Tastyigniter and find it an excellent Open Source solution, but the ease for non-programming staff of the alternative solution (I had to change quite some code and some things not in pipeline). I will check from time to time as I prefer to keep all information on our own server.

Appreciate the feedback. TI has definitely come a long way with a lot of improvements and still more to come. I believe as the community grows and development continues it will only get better.

With v2, the codebase was a mess which didn’t make it easy for developers to onboard, but with a more developer-friendly codebase in v3, we are getting more contributions from the community. Having more brains working on a project is always great.

We are always adding improvements to TastyIgniter so we can compete right with the big boys. Improving the onboarding experience for non technical users is one we are working on for sure.

Feedback like yours only helps us improve 🙂

I’m trying to achieve the exact same and have disabled the ‘Require Location to Order’, however cannot find the option to ‘Hide Location Search’ anywhere in the settings.

Where could I find this please?

mlattke Brilliant thanks! Is there also a way I can remove the ASAP / Schedule Order options? I only wish to have ASAP by default and would like this hidden if possible.
