Add Party Booking

Hi,
@sampoyigi or anyone guide on how to go about adding new functionality. I am new to this framework and still going through it. I tried to add new item {title:main::lang.menu_partyreservation} in main-menu from Admin, but it does not show up correctly. I am sure more configurations are needed and associated php code. Can you point me to some flow of how to go about adding new functionality ?

In reservation there is a drop down menu from 12am to 9pm with 3 hours intervals. How can we remove this because anyway the time slots come after this selection?
