IP Address to replace it with table number

Where I can change the IP address field to get the table number of the guest..
I have Url like this http://localhost/locals/menus?table=3.
I want to get the variable 3 in one of the field to replace the IP address in checkout menu

jonns10 I don’t get exactly what you want… but a quick aproach would be JS.
Store the URL as string, check wether the value exists and replace accordingly

On the checkout page , the system is detecting the ip and store it together with name, email, phone. Instead of storing the ip i want to store the variable in the url. Where in the php code i can find the code for getting the ip address . I want this to replace with variable from url. Thank you

Thank you that was great, as soon as my boss like those customization of function in this system.. .. Looks like i need to modify the model part of this to change the ->ip_address value to variable string from the url so i wont need to modify the json codes when the fields is submitted to the database. Or maybe if theres an interface in this system wherei can add/delete custom field just like in wordpress.
