How to use partial.

Hi All,
we have download the Tastyigniter script and integrated to our localhost . And analyzed Tastyigniter script, we having some doubts on Tastyigniter script. Here ,we seen the keyword of partial .
What purpose of use in partial keyword?
Is this a Template engine?
we try to understand the partial concept but can not get more details on tastyigniter site.

ramkumar Think about it as the segmentation of a document. Instead of having all the components in a single page. The theme is segmented categories. Head, body, footer. Then sub-categories. Head -> links and Head -> logo. Both are part of the same object but exists as two separate files.
