As a precaution, please back up your files and database before updating.

From the admin dashboard

Go to System > Extensions, disable all extensions before upgrading by clicking the square (stop) button on all extensions.
Go to System > Updates, click the Ignore button all updates except the TastyIgniter v3.0.4-beta.22+ update, then click the Update button.
Use your newly-upgraded TastyIgniter site!

Manually from the command line

Follow Step 1 and Step 2

Run the following command at the root of your TastyIgniter installation:

composer update

Just tagged v3.0.4-beta.22.2 to fix the Key column ‘type’ doesn’t exist in table error.

Not everyone was affected by the error which made me think it had something to do with MySQL versions and yes it had to do with some MySQL versions throwing an error when dropping fields that had a composite primary key. Anyways thanks to Ruchir Shah on Slack for debugging this with me 😀.

@sampoyigi With the release of v3.0.4-beta.22 I am seeing the new feature to allow customer to save card details for later checkout. Where is the card details stored and does the customer save it to their profile? Not seeing the feature in my installation.

pjscuisine There’s a new payment_profiles database table that holds each customer’s card profile. Your checkout payments field should look like this for logged in customers.

You probably have to update your payregister partials by deleting them from the filesystem and let TI create new copies automatically by navigating to Sales > Payments.
