Customer Registration Error :: Cannot make non static method

Good day, I recently did a fresh install of v3.0.4-Beta.22. Once a customer attempts to register they receive the following error:

Cannot make non static method Igniter\Flame\ActivityLog\Contracts\ActivityInterface::getType() static
in class Igniter\User\ActivityTypes\CustomerRegistered in /var/www/html/orders/extensions/igniter/user/activitytypes/CustomerRegistered.php:9

The account is created, however the customer is unable to login. Login attempts gives the customer the follow error:

Undefined index: salt

sagaz What version of the user extension do you have installed? There’s already a solution in the latest update (v1.4.0)

Thanks @sampoyigi Manually updating to User extension (v1.4.0) worked perfectly.

The problem seemed to have occurred when installing the extension from the Admin page after a fresh install. It downloaded User extension v1.3.5 and Payregister extension v1.3.2 rather than the latest versions.

@sampoyigi, I may have spoken a bit too soon. The extension update to v1.4.0 did correct the registration issue. However when the customer attempts to login they are getting the following error:

pjscuisine Right, tell me about it. I can’t get enough of these overlooked bugs. No doubt writing tests should be a priority now but.. but… I dread testing lol.

Anyways, here’s the fix and i’ve also added it to update v3.0.4-beta.22.1.
