Hello,

I am looking for someone with experience with tastyigniter to help with a couple of custom requirements:

  1. Integration of custom payment gateway. The gateway is supposed to just take in the data and will open its own lightbox to process the payment. Just need to integrate it with the website.
  2. Tax. We need a different tax rate, based on the payment method selected.

This is urgent work, and of course I will pay for the service. Please do let me know if anyone would like to discuss this further.

omaranayat TastyIgniter already have some pre-defined payment gateways. The functionality to add an specific tax is already part of the tool. Additional fee and Minimum total. Take a look at them in Admin -> Sales -> Payments

      6 days later

mlattke I did. I have created ā€œCustom Developmentā€ requests from the Premium Support section at tastyigniter.com, and also emailed at support@tastyigniter.com
No response; I am sure they are busy with bigger things.

For anyone reading this and interested, the. requirement for the payment extension is still there.
We are running the latest v3 beta (mentioning this because one of the people who contacted wasted much of our time with the assumption we would be running v2, and then days later told us they canā€™t work on v3)

The primary requirement is still a integration of MPGS with tastyigniter.
I found this: https://github.com/digistorm/omnipay-mpgs if it helps.

omaranayat sorry about the delay, support is currently dealing with a lot of requests but you should definitely get a response in hours.

sampoyigi reminds me of the guy last week who offered $$ to pay a developer to make something that was already a feature and people reply to take that $$ instead of just pointing out the feature already existā€¦

maybe label some users as trusted 3rd party development so people can trust where to spend their money and the 3rd party person agrees to share the code back to be implemented into the tastyigniter github. i understand developers making money for their fulfillment of custom requests for new features or features/bugs not fixed yet. so many it can become beneficial in 2 ways. sponsor some people that are knowledgeable so that they get fair $ and more easily find the work, and in return they actually help progress the missing areas of tastyigniter for you.

h4x0rjdag Totally agree, there should be a way to identify trusted devs. Iā€™ve already started with core dev badge for members contributing to the TI codebase and will be adding more badges later for non-code contributors.

TI sponsors have only started growing this March and the plan with the sponsorship program is to pay me to work on TI as well as provide a source of funding for TI, so at some point when we have a good number of sponsors, I plan on directing some of the contributions to the core dev team.
