Hi Guys, I just downloaded this app. I’m trying to understand if TastyIgniter is meant for a single retaurant or multiple - like grubhub or something similar. The frontend shows you can search for multiple restaurants but my purpose is to just use this on my, one, diner - Can someone clarify please?

Hello. Its set up to handle both - there is a setting for multiple or single locations. The front end is geared more towards multiple restaurants, but you can easily modify the templates (or simply redirect to the menu page from the homepage and locations pages).

In the admin panel go to System -> Settings -> General, then set to multi location or single location mode.

You seem to be using version 2 rather than v3 beta. I would suggest you upgrade to the beta.

pepper if you are setting this up for the first time. don’t worry about “upgrading”. just be sure to install v3. the setup-master.zip from tastyigniter.com will install the latest version.

h4x0rjdag Thank you for your reply. I followed the Command-line installation for a fresh install and now I am unsure if the terminal is stuck updating the dependencies… Advance apologies guys, I am not very technical but I want to try and do this myself first prior to hiring a dev.

pepper The command composer install can take several minutes if not hours to run. Looking at the screenshot you seem to be on PHP 7.1, i’ll suggest upgrading to PHP 7.2+

pepper like sam mentioned. make sure your php is v7.2 or higher. but since you used the visual installer before, i recommend using it again because it’ll check all the main requirements for you since you mentioned you’re not very technical.

I’ll upgrade PHP first then do a clean install. I did abort the previous process because it’s been about an hour and I thought the terminal froze or something.

I was trying to figure out how restaurants would signup…. Is there anything that need to be configured. I have set the usage for multiple restaurants
