Disable multiple items

Is there a way of easily disabling multiple menu items?
At the moment I have to disable about 10 items across 2 or 3 categories every couple of days and then a day later reenable them.

wakey18 Have you tried as special or mealtime? You can choose when to allow the customers to order an specific item.

A bulk update feature would be really cool, I should probably add it to the v3+ roadmap. Happy to collaborate if someone submits a PR, just something to start with doesn’t matter 😉

wakey18 A little SQL script would also do the trick 🙂 or better still look into Laravel Tasks scheduling, you can run a command that disables/enables menu items every x days.

could it work like the delete option to toggle disable/enable and have a button at the top?

At the min I use sql straight in the database. I am looking into creating something which automates it better.

@sampoyigi @wakey18 Maybe an extension to apply sql query with a button from widget? As an example I want to give the owner the possibility to disable an option or multiple items in one click in a simple way a button. I can configure the extension button trough settings so the complicated part is omitted to the owner? Just the raw idea

breaksecurity allowing for any sql to be run wouldn’t be a good idea in my opinion. Better to write something that does exactly what you need than leaving it open like that.

I do it directly on the DB (the server is mine), I have to do 5 or sometimes 10 items at once so that was the easiest way until I can commit time to create the extension.
