SMS Notify Extension An extension that allows admins to configure SMS notifications to be sent out when certain events happen in TastyIgniter. saidias I am getting the exact error when installing this extension. Steps… System->Extensions->Browse more extensions-> Search SMS and install It’s the same if I then go to… System->Extensions->SMS Notify->[Install]

This is AWESOME! I have been wanting this forever! I do get the same error when I choose install. Can’t wait to get this working! What system will be used to send the SMS? Is it a free service or pay to play?

roydeanjr I am also looking forward to trying out, I was hoping to find out if its a free service or payable when I installed it.

The notes on the extension suggest that you could really use any service. I am looking into some free services, but have only just started. The notes show Twilio channels are being created.

roydeanjr I also found references to Nexmo another paid for service, which is now owned by Vonage.

Installation issue has been resolved, composer just won’t let me be great lol. Please delete and reinstall the extension.

roydeanjr Currently integrates with Clickatell, Nexmo, Plivo and Twilio all paid services. Adding a new service is pretty straightforward 🙂 I won’t mind adding a popular free service to the list. Edit: I think you get a Pay as you go plan with Twilio

Received an error/notice when trying to modify a template: “The Code has already been taken.”. Attempt was made on Order status changed template. Template Order confirmation sms notification to staff requires a staff phone number doesn’t it? Where is the phone number for this notice set?

Tagged v1.0.2 with some minor improvements and bug fixes.

minyeongkim the variables won’t get replaced when sending a test message but should now work with the automation rule.

Creating new templates is not supported, however, you can edit existing ones.

Also, you can register new SMS templates from an extension, however, you can’t create them through the admin dashboard.
